Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Tax Time!

An hour of your time can help local families begin their journeys toward financial stability. Tax Time is looking for volunteers to help with operations at its tax assistance sites.

This year we are providing more training opportunities to accommodate the growing interest in this volunteer opportunity. The training and certification requirements for each volunteer position are as follows:

• Tax Preparer: 1) Attend a VITA Tax Prep Training Session; 2) Attend a TaxWise Practice Lab Training Session; 3) Complete the IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct Test, the Beginner Level Certification Test, and the Intermediate Level Certification Test
• Financial Resource Specialist: 1) Attend a Financial Resource Specialist Training Session, 2) Complete the IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct Test
• Greeter: Complete the IRS Volunteer Standards of Conduct training and certification
• Translator: Same as Greeter
